Senior Accountant – Record to Report (RTR)

Location: Shared Services Centre, Cherrywood Business Park, Loughlinstown, Co. Dublin

Are you looking to take the next step in your finance career within a global Shared Service Centre?


We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our RTR team supporting a number of European markets. You will collaborate closely with our outsourced partners, work cross‑functionally, and play an active role in process improvements across the business.

This role is ideal for someone who is a strong communicator, enjoys problem‑solving, and wants to grow in a fast‑paced, global environment. You will work as part of a dynamic team, while having the autonomy to take initiative and drive meaningful change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly general ledger close activities in line with US GAAP

  • Prepare and review high‑quality reconciliations and journal entries

  • Complete SOX controls according to the control matrix

  • Work closely with outsourced partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

  • Support internal and external audits

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements

  • Participate in key RTR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Support additional ad‑hoc requests as required

Minimum Requirements

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA / CIMA)

  • Post‑qualification experience in a Shared Service Centre or multinational environment

  • Practice experience with global clients also considered

  • Strong initiative and interest in change management and process optimisation

Preferred Requirements

  • SAP or major ERP experience

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Ability to analyse and summarise financial data clearly and accurately

  • Proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge ways of working

  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
