In Plain Language
We believe in privacy by default. Here's what we do — and don't do.
We don't
- Use third-party trackers or analytics (no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixels)
- Require you to create an account to apply for jobs
- Sell, share, or trade your personal data
- Use cookies except where strictly necessary (session cookies for logged-in users)
- Send unsolicited emails — all notifications are opt-in
We do
- Collect your name and email when you apply (so the recruiter can contact you)
- Store your CV temporarily — it is automatically deleted 90 days after the application is closed
- Use anonymous, aggregate data to calculate salary benchmarks and response scores
- Provide a tracking token so you can check application status without an account
Your Rights
- Request deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@irishjobboard.ie
- Access all data we hold about you
- Withdraw from any application
Data Retention
- CV files: deleted 90 days after application closes
- Application records: anonymised after 12 months
- Salary data: retained indefinitely in aggregate form only
